Since July 12, 2017, the journal has been included in the “List of peer-reviewed scientific publications in which the main scientific results of dissertations for the degree of the candidate of science, for the degree of the doctor of science should be published”.

On the journal's website all materials are published in open access on the basis of an open license with the right to read, cite, copy, reprocess for educational and scientific purposes, subject to mandatory reference to the journal and authors of publications. Use with commercial purposes only by special written permission of the publisher.

Goals and objectives

The main purpose of the journal is to provide scientists with the opportunity to publish the results of their research in a transparent and open environment, and to promote an open scientific debate to improve the quality of scientific research and the introduction of advanced scientific achievements.
Tasks of the journal:
1. To draw attention to the most relevant, promising and interesting areas of architecture, urban planning, construction and engineering sciences and practice.
2. Ensuring interaction and attracting leading Russian and foreign scientists to publications.
3. Establishment of an exchange of views between researchers from different national and foreign scientific schools.
4. Provide an opportunity for dialogue and knowledge sharing between leading scientists and practitioners.
In accordance with Russian legislation on media and registration documents, the magazine publishes advertising materials on advanced technologies in building science, practice and education, information messages on landmark events, scientific conferences, industry exhibitions.

The branch focus of the journal is the problems of building science and architecture (construction in Russia and abroad, materials, equipment, technologies, techniques, architecture: theory, history, design, restoration, urban planning).
