DEVELOPMENT OF THE CITY ON THE BASIS OF A COMPETITIVE APPLICATION FOR SMALL TOWNS AND HISTORICAL SETTLEMENTS

Abstract

This scientific article presents a study dedicated to the development and implementation of the project "TatArskie Legends - along the old road on Kommuny Street" in the city of Arsk. The research is based on the analysis of residents' surveys, which identified the need for infrastructure improvement and route development, as well as the identification of issues existing in the project area.

The article describes the proposed solutions, including the creation of convenient sidewalks, lighting, bicycle paths, the construction of a new bridge, and the reorganization of the intersection. Additionally, it examines the restoration of the identity of the railway square and the development of the historical space.

The authors emphasize the significance of the project for the city of Arsk and its potential in enhancing infrastructure and attracting tourists. The improved urban landscape will allow for various events such as weddings, fairs, and festivals, thereby enhancing the city's appeal.

The article also discusses the project's funding and projected revenue from the utilization of the designed area, as well as its connection to the development of municipal districts. It is expected that the project's implementation will lead to positive and long-term changes in Arsk, contributing to its economic development.

Overall, this research presents important practical and theoretical outcomes supported by residents' survey data and proposed solutions for improving the infrastructure of Arsk and its development as a tourist destination.
